Last updated: May 24, 2026

Overview

All Indie Games is a game discovery platform for browsing, searching, filtering, saving, and suggesting indie games. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the service.

All Indie Games does not sell games or process game purchases. Approved browser games may be hosted for play through the platform, while other games may link to third-party platforms or official game pages.

By using All Indie Games, you agree that we may process your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Information We Collect

Account information: when you create an account or sign in, we may collect your email address, display name, authentication provider details, and account identifiers.

Game activity: we may collect actions such as likes, favorites, external link launches, searches, suggested games, private ZIP or RAR packages, screenshots, metadata, and related moderation or review status.

Device and usage information: we may collect analytics events, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and interaction events that help us understand how the feed performs.

Local storage: if a database feature is unavailable or to support client-side preferences, we may store limited information in your browser, such as liked game identifiers.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, save games, count likes and external link launches, improve discovery, review suggested games, prevent abuse, and communicate service-related updates.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand platform performance, improve recommendations, maintain database quality, and plan product improvements.

Service Providers

We may rely on service providers for hosting, authentication, database storage, analytics, media delivery, security, and operational tooling. These providers process information on our behalf so the service can function.

The current product uses Supabase for authentication, database features, and private submission storage, Google sign-in where selected by the user, Google Analytics when configured for traffic analytics, and PostHog for product analytics and session replay.

Game Suggestions and Public Content

If you suggest a game, the information you provide may become visible to other users after review, including the game name, URL, screenshot, play count, like count, and related public listing details.

Uploaded ZIP or RAR packages are stored privately for review. Submitting an archive does not automatically publish the archive or make it available from the public site.

Do not submit confidential information, private repository links, unreleased assets, or third-party content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to share it through All Indie Games.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Public game data, counts, and suggested listing information may be displayed in the service and may be indexed or shared by users outside the platform.

Your Choices

You may choose not to create an account, but some features such as saving games, liking games, or suggesting games may require authentication.

You can clear browser local storage through your browser settings. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us through the support channel for All Indie Games.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

All Indie Games is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the product.
